marketing flier & event planning
I worked alongside Martin Dickson, the Director of Brand and Innovation at Leeds BID. I pitched ideas to their team about events, panels and branding for the upcoming LIFI events.
My projects received enthusiastic approval, and I planned an additional marketing event to increase their visibility among students, featuring a talk at a local university. I created fliers using their mascot, Nova, to further market not only the event but future LIFI events!
I created some alien characters inspired by space invaders, as the Leeds International Festival of Ideas often has a primary ‘cute’ 3D character.
I then animated a short clip to be used on their advertisements.
I did this entirely on blender, using physics simulations and modifiers along with forcefields to create the soft bouncing effect.
